This week the boys and girls in Primary 1 were learning all about the letter ‘a’ and the sound it makes. They took part in a phonics hunt in our school garden to find objects beginning with the sounds ‘s’ and ‘a’. They had great fun with Karol from Jump, Jiggle and Jive and in PE they have been learning how to throw and catch. In Numeracy they were ordering numbers and matching objects and learning how to create 2 and 3 colour patterns. We finished off the week by mixing paint to creat a new colour!!
