Primary 6 have been chosen to take part in the Hatchery in the classroom project. Today 16th October Lisa and Frank from the trust visited the class and presented a short lesson on the life cycle of the trust and a brief overview of what the project will involve.
The next step for our class is to visit the hatchery in November. We will see how the hatchery works and get a tour. After Christmas we hope at have a hatchery set up in our classroom with the hope that in March the new trout will be put back into the River Ballinderry.
We will keep you all updated on our project throughout the coming months.
