P3 researched the design of a Polar Bear’s body and how they are adapted to the cold wintery climate.
We made it a fair test by using a stopwatch to time how long our hands could stay in the ice cold water. We predicted which hand would be fit to stay in the longest, the hand surrounded by bear fat/ fur or the hand with nothing on.
It’s safe to say the bear’s fat and fur really helped!!
