As part of children’s mental health week P6 took part in a virtual workshop. The theme of the workshop was ‘This is me’ and focused on the children’s ability to identify and understand their emotions.
We discussed what makes us feel sadness, happiness, fear and anger as well as the different levels of these emotions. The children enjoyed the movement breaks and the online quizzes to share what they had learned. We then went on to discuss a range of strategies to help us overcome our emotions and support systems we all have in place to help us.
