October: -
In October we have been focusing on rhyming words and learning nursery rhymes. We brought in some objects that rhyme. We are beginning to learn some initial sounds using playdough, shaving foam and stencils to create the sound ‘s’. In numeracy we have been learning about patterns and the number 2. We used paint to create our own patterns and we copied, created and continued patterns during playtime. We have learnt how to make sets and form the number 2. We have also learnt about syllables and how to clap out our names and various objects.
