In Primary 4, we have been learning about minibeasts. We have been learning about the life cycle of different animals, including butterflies.
We had caterpillars in our classroom to look after. We watched them eat and make their chrysalis. We saw the ink from the butterflies wings drip down.
Eventually our butterflies came out of their chrysalis and began to fly about! Then we released them outside. It was great fun!
