During Numeracy week in P5 we investigated special offers in Toymaster to calculate how much money we would save if we bought the items on offer. We also learned more about weight and sorted items from the heaviest to the lightest. Pupils estimated the weights of the items using the language heavier and lighter. Pupils also worked to understand a fraction as a portion of a number and drew fraction selfies.
