Primary 1 enjoyed a lovely Pancake Tuesday filled with lots of exciting learning activities. The children worked together to create their own pancake making instructions by ordering the recipe using language of first, next and then etc. We made a noisy sound poem full of flips and sizzles and the children enjoyed pretending to mix, pour and flip their pancake batter. We counted pancakes and matched the numbers to the correct amount. We also looked at how many pancakes it took to half - fill the tub and to fill it up to the top. We finished our Pancake Tuesday with some delicious fluffy pancakes.
