Porridge in the outdoors!!
What a fun-filled morning we had making porridge that only the three bears would enjoy! Some of the children popped on their waterproof suits and wellies and headed out into the garden to gather special “ingredients” to make the most disgusting, yucky porridge that Goldilocks definitely wouldn’t want to eat!
The children carefully measured out cupfuls of porridge oats and water, chatting about how many scoops they needed, before heading off on a hunt around the garden. They collected stones, mud, leaves, and acorns to give their porridge some extra “flavour.” It was a wonderfully messy, imaginative activity that sparked lots of conversation, counting, and giggles!
