Cara - Girl Footballer of the Year
Cara has had a mighty 2 years on the field and has been discussed by coaches and teachers at many tournaments throughout P6 and P7 for her skill level, her determination and her reading and understanding of the game. She has serious skill and we know that she has many successful days ahead for St. Joseph’s, The Plunketts and beyond.
Joe - Boy Footballer of the Year
Joe has grew in skill and game play throughout his time in nets with St. Mary’s. He has absolutely no fear and would put any goalkeeper to the test. He has a magical love for the game, he watches and quotes many players and managers and was even a helping hand to Mr Bradley and Mr Coyle on the line with strategies. We know we will see Joe for years to come getting his team over the line in St. Ciaran’s and The Plunketts.
Ceoladh - Sports Personality of the Year
Ceoladh has many sporting talents and is dedicated to each with the highest level of commitment. Ceoladh is dedicated to being the best version of herself and never gives less than excellence. She has excelled as a footballer, a runner and an Irish Dancer. Ceoladh was a backbone in all games for St. Mary’s and her hard work ethic and reading of the game was instrumental in their wins. She ran with mighty fight and was rewarded with a medal for her achievement in Carrickmore Cross Country. Her sport in school was only part of her journey. Evenings and weekends were filled with Irish Dancing and this year at the World Championships Ceoladh came home from Killarney with 6 All Ireland medals for her team and solo dancing. Ceoladh keep being the best version of you! We know you have many more medals to collect!
Gracie Rae - Spirit of St. Mary’s
Gracie Rae epitomises the ethos of St. Mary’s. Her nurturing qualities and kindness were always on show and her love of our little Butterflies and Rainbows was beyond words. She takes with her a love, understanding, respect and compassion that we know will lead her in her journey through life to massive things. Gracie Rae never change, you have sprinkled magic on many hearts and we are better for the natural depth of kindness you have shared.
Paddy Dan - Special Recognition Award
Paddy Dan is a friend to everyone in P7 and we know he has touched each of their hearts. He has grown to be the best version of himself with strength and a devotion to be a kind and compassionate friend. Paddy Dan, Thank-You for showing us all your incredible spirit, your warmth, and your unwavering kindness. You remind us every day of the power of friendship, and we are so proud of the young person you have become.
